Jeremy Jones

Jeremy Jones serves as Chief Technology Officer, responsible for all technical activities at SoCore.  Jeremy supports business development from a technical perspective, oversees all project design and construction, and manages product development efforts related to SoCore’s SunLock mounting solution.  Jeremy’s solar expertise spans a broad base including project development, product design, project finance, and business development.

Prior to SoCore, Jeremy was a Commercial Solar Sales Manager for Conergy, the world's largest solar company, where he co-developed a suite of solar project finance offerings and built a commercial customer wholesale sales channel.

For the six years prior to Conergy, Jeremy worked for Spire Solar where he started as a PV Systems Engineer and grew into a role managing Spire's PV systems business. During this time, Jeremy was responsible for all aspects of commercial PV project development and business management including PV systems engineering, project management, and commercial solar project sales.

Throughout his renewable energy career, Jeremy has also developed a series of proprietary products including Internet-based energy monitoring systems, photovoltaic modules, and photovoltaic mounting solutions. He is a NABCEP certified PV installer and holds a solar contractor license in Florida and California. Jeremy is currently the Chairman of the Illinois Solar Energy Association Policy Committee.

Jeremy holds a B.S. in Applied Science from Miami University's (OH) Engineering Management program.
