Jeff Bennett

Jeff is also the Managing Director of Merrick Ventures, LLC, a private-equity funded holding company that makes controlling investments in businesses that leverage portal technologies. Jeff has diverse experience in operational, financial, and investment roles. Prior to Merrick, he served as Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Investments at Ygomi, a technology-focused holding company led by the founder of Navteq. Prior to Ygomi, he has 15 years of multi-disciplinary marketing, business development, and strategy experience enabling value creation, influencing organizations, and delivering results in global, innovative and dynamic high tech environments. He held executive positions at BridgePort Networks and PrairieComm, both venture backed organizations in the telecommunications industry which were sold to public companies. Jeff was an executive consultant to Cadence Design Systems with focus on corporate strategy and M&A activities.

Jeff holds a MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelors of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.
