Glen Tullman
Glen is currently the CEO of Allscripts-Mysis (NASDAQ: MDRX), a $3 billion market capitalization business that serves as the leading provider of online medical prescriptions. After the acquisition of a competitor, it is now the largest electronic medical record company in the United States.
Prior to Allscripts, Glen was the CEO of Enterprise Systems Inc., which was acquired by HBO & Company for $250 million. He currently serves on the International Board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and on the Board of Trustees of the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT). Glen is Co-Chair of the National ePrescribing Patient Safety Initiative (NEPSI), a $100 million campaign led by Allscripts and Dell Computers that delivers free electronic prescribing to every physician in America.
Mr. Tullman graduated from Bucknell University Magna Cum Laude, with a double major in Economics and Psychology. Upon graduation, he joined the Executive Office of the President of the United States in Washington, D.C. and later accepted a fellowship to study social anthropology at St. Antony's College, Oxford University, England. In 2006, he was named CEO of the Year by the Illinois Information Technology Association. In 2008, Glen was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
