Andy Lane

Andy joined SoCore Energy as a Structural Engineering Manager in February of 2010 after ten years of experience in the building design industry.  He is a licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois and a licensed Professional Engineer in Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Prior to SoCore, Andy worked as an associate at Fisher + Partners Structural Engineers, a structural design firm in Chicago.  During that time, he gained experience in the design of both new and existing rehabilitation buildings as the project engineer for several steel, reinforced concrete, post-tension concrete, precast concrete, masonry, cold formed steel and timber projects.  Andy was solely responsible for all design calculations, pricing, permit and construction documents as well as all shop drawing review and on-site meetings.

Andy graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Civil Engineering.
